PINCH OF SALT
1/2 CUP FRUIT JUICE OR WATER
OR
1/4 CUP WATER PLUS
1/4 CUP MASHED FRUIT
1/3 CUP CORN SYRUP
2 CUPS FRESH FRUIT

BLEND CORN STARCH AND SALT IN SMALL SAUCEPAN. GRADUALLY STIR IN LIQUID AND CORN SYRUP. COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL MIXTURE THICKENS AND COMES TO A BOIL. REMOVE FROM HEAT;COOL. ARRAGE FRUIT ON CAKE OR PIE, THEN EVENLY FOUR ON GLAZE.
CHILL - TOP WITH WHIPPED CREAM IF DESIRED.
