1 PACKAGE DRY YEAST, DISSOLVED IN
1/2 CUP LUKE WARM WATER.

6 CUPS FLOUR
1 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1/3 CUP BUTTER
1/3 CUP SUGAR
1 EGG BEATEN
1 1/2 CUP MILK SCALDED

SCALD MILK - ADD SUGAR, SALT AND BUTTER - COOL - ADD BEATEN EGG AND YEAST WATER, THEN FLOUR 0 MIX THOROUGHLY.

PLACE ON FLOURED BOARD - KNEAD FOR 5 MIN. AND MAKE INTO A BALL. BUT IN GREASED BOWL TO RISE, COVERED.

LET SET TO DOUBLE IN SIZE AND KNEAD AGAIN AND MAKE BUNS - PLACE ON A GREASED PAN - LET RISE ABOUT 30 MINL.

BAKE 375º 20 TO 25 MIN.

REMOVE FROM PAN AND COVER TO KEEP WARM .
