1 PACKAGE GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX
1/3 CUP WATER
2 EGGS
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
2 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER

MIX ALL TOGETHER AND BEAT ABOUT 4 MIN AT MID. SPEED.
POUR BATTER INTO TWO 8" OR 9" PANS, WELL GREASED AND FLOURED.

BAKE AT 350º - 30 OR 40 MIN.

SWEET CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM FORSTING

2 PACKAGES (4 OZ. EACH) SWEET COOKING CHOCOLATE
2 CUPS (1 PINT) SOUR CREAM, ROOM TEMP.
1 1/2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
1 TEASPOON VANILLA

MELT CHOCOLATE OVER HOT WATER. COOL. COMBINE REMAINING INGREADIENTS AND ADD COOLED CHOCOLATE AND BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH.
SPREAD FROSTING BETWEEN LAYERS AND OVER TOP AND SIDES OF CAKE.
