1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 TEASPOON SALT
1 TEASPOON CINNAMON AND NUTMEG
ADD:
3 CUPS CHOPPED FRESH APPLES
1 CUP NUTS
2 TEASPOON VANILLA

POUR INTO 9X13 INCH PAN
BAKE 350º FOR 50 MIN.

TOPPING

HEAT:
6 TALBESPOONS BUTTER
1/4 CUP HEAVY CREAM
2/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 CUP NUTS
1 TEASPOON VANILLA

POUR OVER TOP OF HOT CAKE AND PLACE UNDER BROILER - HEAT TO BUBBLING (ABOUT 2 MIN.)
