Sift together:
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda

Stir in:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Pour into greased, floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350, 35 - 40 minutes or until done.
Frosting:
Cream together:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter.
Add 2 c. powdered sugar.
Spread on cake while warm.

I first tasted this cake at my sister (Marilyn Skaggs) home. Another recipe that you shouldn't count on taking any home from a pitch-in meal.
