1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 No. 2 can of crushed pineapple
1 c. white sugar
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars and shortening and eggs. Add
combined dry ingredients alternately with pineapple. Drop by tsp. on cookie sheet. Bake 375 for 12 -15 minutes.

This recipe was submitted numerous times. These cookies were often found in Grandpa Walter and Grandma Arlie's cookie jar. Many of you have very fond memories of these cookies and the special lady that made them.
