8 small cans of Contadina Italian Seasonings tomato paste
2 large cans Contadina puree
1 pound lean ground beef
4 large sweet onions finely chopped
4 stalks of celery with leaves finely chopped
6 cloves of garlic
6 bay leaves
1 tsp. dry basil
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pot. Add onions and celery. Saute on low for about 45 minutes, stirring frequently. Add ground beef and cook until brown. Add puree and tomato paste. Add 5 puree cans of water. Add garlic, bay leaves, basil, salt and pepper. Add more salt and pepper if needed to taste. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook on low heat for 4 hours stirring occasionally.
