1 box of Ritz small crackers (13.5 oz) and
1/3 box of Ritz small crackers (13.5) = 18 oz.
1 c. of dry roasted peanuts


Directions:
Directions:
Put above in a shallow, buttered pan (I use the bottom of my broiler pan)
In saucepan, heat to a boil:
1/2 c. or 1 stick of margarine
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo Syrup
Boil for 5 minutes.
Take off stove and add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. baking soda. Pour over cracker/peanut mix and stir up really well. Put in a 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Pour out onto waxed paper and break apart when cooled. Store in baggie in a tin or airtight container.
