2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks butter
1 egg, separated
3 Tbsp. milk
1 cup pecans, finely to small coarsely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar and salt into a bowl. With a fork, mix in thoroughly butter, egg yolk, milk and vanilla. Form into
1" balls (size of small walnut). Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Eight to a tray. With the bottom of a glass, greased with butter and dipped in sugar, presss each ball to 1/16" thickness.
Brush with slightly beaten egg whites and sprinkle some pecans on top.

Bake 8-10 minutes in a 375º oven.
DO NOT OVERBAKE
