2 cups all bran
2 cups boiling water
3 cups sugar
1 cup oil
1 quart buttermilk
3 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 cups bran flakes (cereal)
5 cups flour
2 cups raisins
4 beaten eggs

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Let set 12 hours in fridge before baking. Bake in 350º oven for 20 minutes. Will keep for 6 weeks.

Hi all, it's Darlene. These are the best bran muffins I have ever had. One summer I was home to visit and Aunt Yvonne layed these out with breakfast, Oh my gosh were they good. It's nice that you can keep in fridge and make as many fresh as you'd like. Thankx Aunt Yvonne for adding this one.
