24 large fresh mushrooms,
1/4 c. sliced green onion,
1 clove of garlic, minced,
1/4 c. butter or margerine,
2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs,
1/4 c. chopped pepperoni,
1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and drain mushroons. Remove stems. Reserve caps. Chop enough stems to make 1 cup.
In a meduim saucepan cook stems, onion, and garlic in butter till tender. Stir in bread crumbs. Spoon crumb mixture into mushroom caps. Arrange mushrooms in a baking pan. Bake in a 425º oven for 8-10 minutes or till heated through. Makes 24

I like to add shredded cheese to mine and sprinkle some grated cheese on the top!
I made this for the Rice's Christmas brunch last year and it was a big hit.
