6 c. cold water
1/3 c. milk (or to taste)
1 stick cinnamon
6 green cardamon pods or ground
4 whole cloves
12 black peppercorns
12 tsp. sugar (or to taste)
6-9 tea bags

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water and milk in a pan and bring to a boil. Add spices and sugar and stir to blend. Turn off heat, cover pan and let spices soak 10 min.

Add tea bags and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 5 min.
