1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
50 Kraft light caramels
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake according to package directions. Divide batter in half.
Pour 1/2 of the batter in a lightly buttered and floured 9" X 13" pan. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan melt caramels, butter and milk together until smooth, stirring constantly.
Remove cake from oven and while it is still hot sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Drizzle the caramel mixture over that, then pour the remaining cake batter on top. Bake 30 minutes longer.
