1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1/2 fine bread crumbs or cracker crumbs, 1 egg, 1/2 c. chopped onion, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, 1 c. beef broth, 1 can golden mushroom soup, 1 can whole tomatoes, 1/2 tsp. basil leaves, 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves, 1 bay leaf, 1 pkg. frozen stew vegetables

Make meatballs from first 5 ingredients and brown. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then simmer for about an hour.
