2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
6 eggs, separated
3 c. milk (or half and half)
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pie shells
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour and cocoa in large saucepan. Beat egg yolks with some of the milk and then add to sugar/flour mixture. Add rest of the milk. Cook on low heat stirring constantly until mixture is thick.
Add butter & vanilla. Brush some of the egg whites over pie shells and bake empty shells 7-9 minutes @ 350. Add pie mixture. Make meringue and top pie.
Bake till light brown approx. 12-15 minutes.
