Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Bacon or sausage
Self rising flour
Water
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the bacon or sausage either in a frying pan or on a George Forman grill so you can collect the drippings. If you use sausage, it needs to be bulk, you won’t get the drippings from sausage links.

Gravy:
In a big frying pan, use some of the bacon or sausage drippings and a few tablespoons of self rising flour until thick. Slowly add water and stir until lumps are gone and it is getting thicker, continue adding water until the consistency you want. Toward the end, add milk instead of water for a nice creamy gravy. You can add bacon or sausage pieces to the gravy if you like it right in.

Biscuits:
Spray, butter or grease cookie sheet. Throw some self rising flour in a bowl and add water. You’ll want a tacky consistency, thicker than pancake batter but thinner than if you wanted to roll out the dough. Drop by big spoon fulls onto the cookie sheet and kind of spread it out a little otherwise you’ll have a big ball for a biscuit. Rub or brush on a little of the bacon or sausage drippings on the top of the biscuit to get a nice brown color. Bake on 350 for about 15-20 minutes until golden.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Note: make some homefries and throw some gravy over those too, and you have an amazing southern breakfast
