1 stick butter, melted
3 cans chicken broth
1 T. rubbed sage
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. each salt and black pepper
1 lg. bag seasoned stuffing mix
3/4 c. onions, finely chopped
3/4 c. celery. finely chopped
3/4 c. cashews, chopped
1 lg. unpeeled apple, cored and chopped
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Melt butter in chicken broth. Add sage, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper to broth. Slightly beat two eggs, set aside. Place all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour in broth, mix and add eggs. Stuffing should be moist. Use to stuff turkey. If cooking as a side dish: Put in a well greased casserole dish and bake in preheated 350º oven until firm, about 40 minutes.
