3 lbs. okra, sliced
2 c. Vidalia onions, chopped
1 c. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can corn
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. thyme
4 dashes hot sauce
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
1/3 c. bacon drippings

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, fry okra in bacon grease until tender, about 20 minutes. Add onions, bell pepper, celery and garlic. Saute about 20 minutes. Add tomatoes, corn, and all other ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
