About 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar,
1 Tbsp (more or less to taste) honey,
1 Tbsp coarse-grained mustard,
1 Tbsp olive oil,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper,
1 small red onion, diced,
2 cups cooked and cooled kidney beans,
1 cup cooked and cooled Italian white beans,
1 lb green beans, trimmed and cut diagonally into 1" pieces,
2 Tbsps chopped, fresh Italian parsley.

In a large bowl, whisk together the vinegar, honey, oil, salt and pepper. Taste this to adjust to your liking. Add the onion and kidney beans and Italian white beans.
Cook the green beans in boiling salted water until just tender, about 3 to 6 minutes. Drain and plunge into an ice bath. Pat dry and add to the salad along with the parsley. Toss well. Adjust the salt and pepper to taste.

I got this recipe from a friend in Italy who liked the colors of the beans that were like that of the Italian flag, i.e., red, white and green.
