1 large cabbage (grated and/or cut fine)
1 medium onion (grated and/or cut fine)
3/4 cup sugar
set this mixture aside

1/4 cup sugar
1 T celery seed or salt
1 T prepared mustard
1 cup vinegar (may use pickle juice)
1 1/2 T salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to a boil; add 1 cup vegetable oil, bring to a boil again. Pour over cabbage mix and stir; chill. Serve same day when chilled or will keep up to 30 days in the refrigerator.
