1 cup sugar
cup shortening
1 egg
4 T molasses


Sift together:
2 cups flour
1 t baking soda
1 t nutmeg
1 t cinnamon
t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and roll into small balls (cover with sugar); then bake on greased cookie sheet at 325-350 about 8-10 minutes (makes about 5 dozen cookies).
