Vinegar Dumplings Recipe

cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
t nutmeg
1 cup water

Bring to a boil. Then drop dumplings (listed below) into this mixture and boil about 15 minutes until syrup is thick.


1 cup flour
2 t baking powder
t salt
2 T margarine
6 T milk

Mix ingredients all together and make a dough. Then roll out into small 1/2 thick balls and drop into vinegar syrup.
