1 c. precooked chicken (cubed)
1 c. long-grain rice (uncooked)
1/4 c. salad oil
1 clove garlic
1 medium-sized onion (cut in half)
2 chicken bouillon cubes
4 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add garlic and onion to salad oil. Add rice to this mixture. Slowly brown over low heat, stirring occasionally. When rice is wheat colored, pour off oil except about 1 tablespoon. Remove garlic and add cooked chicken. Crumble bouillon cubes in the water. Add salt and pour over rice and chicken. Simmer (tightly covered) until liquid is absorbed (about 30 minutes).
