1 1/2 - 2 lb. ground beef and/or pork
1 chopped onion
3-4 garlic cloves
1 can tomatoes (chopped)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
4 T. chili powder (or more to make hotter)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic. Add ground meat and cook until well done. Add tomatoes and seasonings. If you use chili meat or venison you must boil the meat until done and then proceed as with the skillet method. Dad always added ground comino to his taco meat and chili.
For a thicker chili, mix 2 T flour with cup of water and add to mixture.
