"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Puppy Chow, by Gayle Cornwell, is from Mama G's Favorites,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 stick margarine 1 C peanut butter 12 oz. chocolate chips 12 oz. box of Rice Chex 2 C powdered sugar
Melt margarine, peanut butter, and chips. Stir in Rice Chex. After Chex are coated with the chocolate mixture, place them in a grocery bag along with the powdered sugar and shake. Store in tight container.
Even though we only seem to make this when we go to the lake once a year, it's good and easy any time.
