1 large Romaine lettuce, tear into small pieces, wash, drain, dry
1 c.fresh croûtons

Dressing:
4 T. lemon juice
dash of salt
¼ c. olive oil
1 egg, beaten
½ tsp. cracked pepper
½ c. grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped fine

Optional: A few finely chopped anchovies or you may substitute fresh bacon bits.

Shake ingredients thoroughly. Pour over romaine lettuce and add croûtons. ( Dressing may be made ahead and placed in the refrigerator until ready to serve.)
