1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 T. lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup crumbled Roquefort cheese
3 T. finely chopped chives or onion

Combine all ingredients and chill thoroughly. The dressing mellows and thickens on standing. For those who love blue cheese, this is a great recipe! Probably received this recipe from Marian Faulkner in Castine, ME.
