1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. oregano
1, 15-oz. can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
1, 4-oz. can mushroom pieces

Directions:

Combine first 6 ingredients with 3/4 cup tomato sauce in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well. Pat the meat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch rectangle on waxed paper. Sprinkle with cheese and mushrooms. Roll as if making a jelly roll, sealing the edge and ends well so cheese does not escape. Place seam side down in a 8 x 12-inch baking pan. Bake at 375º for 30 minutes. Pour off drippings. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over the loaf. Bake for 30 minutes longer.
