1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups quick oats

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add egg, vanilla and milk; beat well. Sift flour with baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto baking sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned
