2 lbs stewing beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 - 10 1/2 oz. can mushrooms (pieces & stems), drained.
1/2 cup red wine (optional) you can use beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients well. Bake in 300 degree oven for 3 hrs in a covered casserole dish. Serve over noodles or rice.
