3 (heaping) T. yeast
1 c. warm water (add 1 tsp. sugar)
2 T. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2/3 c. powdered milk mixed in 2 1/2 c. water
8 c. wheat flour
8 c. white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Let yeast and water get activated. Add it to salt, sugar and shortening mixture. Make powdered milk in water. Add to mixture adding 6-8 c. flour. Slowly add remaining flour during 10 minutes. Let rise until doubled. Punch down, shape and let rise. Bake at 350º for 37-42 minutes (depending on type of pan).
