1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped (or) a little minced onion (for convenience)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
c. milk
4-5 c. dry extra wide egg noodles, cooked
2 T. butter or margarine
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
c. sour cream

Brown hamburger. Saute onions until tender (or) just add a little minced onion. Stir in soup, milk, noodles, butter, salt, and pepper; simmer, covered, 10-15 minutes. Uncover and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
Heat through but do not bring to a boil.
Serve immediately.
