1 ½ lbs beef stew meat or other roast/beef leftovers
2 tbsp flour
½ tsp celery salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 c thin sliced carrots
1 large potato, chunked
¼ c sherry (more or less, to taste)
¼ c dark molasses
1 c water
1/4 c raisins (optional)

Directions:
Put beef in slow cooker or crockpot. If using leftovers, save broth/fat from beef and use in this recipe. Do not skim fat. Combine flour, salt, garlic, ginger and pepper. Stir together with tomatoes, carrots, potatoes. You can also add other veggies like corn and peas if you have leftovers. Combine sherry and molasses and add to veggie mixture Add all to beef and stir well. Add water and more sherry as needed to taste. Cook at least 6-8 hours. Add ¼ c raisins about 30 minutes before serving if desired.
