6 egg whites
6 egg yolks
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until very stiff.
Add 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar gradually, beating until very thick.
In separate smaller bowl, comine egg yolks and vanilla. Beat until thick, and gradually add 1 cup powdered sugar. When thick add to large bowl mixture and continue to beat and thicken for several minutes.
Chill and stiffen before serving
Batter may be put into several small containers and frozen for later use. The batter does not separate.
Tom & Jerry
3/4 cup hot water
1 shot brandy
1 Tbl scoop Tom & Jerry batter
Sprinkle with nutmeg
