3 cups flour
1 cup broth
5 chicken bullion cubes
1 can vegetarian broth
5 cups water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper*
* add addtional salt and pepper to taste
**1 cooked chicken breast can be added for a non-vegetarian
recipe

Broth preparation:

Combine in a large pot 5 cups of water, 1 can vegetarian
broth, and 5 bullions cubes. Bring mixture to a boil. Once at a
boil turn broth down to simmer on low.

Dumpling Dough Preparation:
Combine in a mixing bowl 2 cups four, 1 cup broth, 1 tsp. salt,
and 1 tsp pepper. Mix until mixutre has a dough like
consistency.

Use remaining cup of flour to dust the cutting board and
rolliing pin with flour.

**NOTE: It is not necessary to place all of the flour on the
cutting board and rolling pin at one time. Use only what you
need to dust both items.

Place a hand full of dough on cutting board and roll out dough
until 1/4" thin. Once dough is approximately 1/4" thin cut,
dough into 1" strips. Next cut the strips into 1" sections. The
result should be 1" squares.

Drop dough squares into broth. Stir after dropping every 4-5
squares into broth.

**NOTE: This will keep dumplings from sticking together.

Once all of dumplings are in pot cook for approximately 30-45
minutes, stir occasionally.
