3 sticks Butter or Margarine
3 cups sugar
5 Eggs
3 Cups sifted cake flour
3/4 Cup 7-Up
1 tlbs lemon extract
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Lemon Glaze
Powdered Sugar
Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
With electric mixer, beat butter until creamy, add sugar, a little at a time, beat until mixture is light and creamy (15-minutes). Add eggs, one at a time beating throughly after each egg. Remove mixture from mixer, and add extracts. alternate adding flour and 7-Up soda. Be sure the mixture is throughly beaten after each addition. pour in Bunt Pan. Cook for approximately 1 1/4 hours at 350º

Lemon Glaze
Powder sugar and lemon juice, just mix to you consistency, (creamy).

If you would like chopped nuts, you may pour chopped nut at bottom of pan before you put cake in pan. (Bake). you can substitute coconut flavor for lemon.
