1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
3 T cocoa

1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla

2 c. graham wafer crumbs
1 c. coconut (short grain)
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 T. custard powder (Birdseye)
2 T hot water
2 squares chocolate - semi-sweet
1 tsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter, sugar, cocoa over hot water -double boiler until it dissolves.
Add beaten egg and vanilla.
Remove from heat and add crumbs, coconut and nuts.
Spread in greased 8x8" pan.
Place in fridge to set.
Combine butter, powdered sugar, custard powder and hot water. Mix well. Spread over first mixture and return to fridge.
Melt chocolate and butter. Spread on top of icing and chill until firm. Cut into small squares.
