3 1/2 C chicken broth
1/4 C chopped onions
10 oz. frozen broccoli
1/8 tsp. pepper
5 1/2 T margarine
3 T flour
1 1/2 qt. milk

Directions:
Directions:
In 4 qt. saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients. Stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile in 2 qt. saucepan, over low heat, melt margarine. Using a wire whip, gradually add flour to margarine. Simmer, stirring frequently about 5-10 minutes. Using whip, add milk to flour mixture, stirring constantly. Simmer, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add sauce to simmering soup. Stir until well bended. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
