1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening
2 eggs
1 c. caramel ice cream topping
2 tbsp. hot water

Frosting:
2 c. confectioner's sugar
1/3 c. soft butter or margarine
3 tbsp. caramel ice cream topping
2 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy
and well blended ( batter is stiff). Spread on ungreased 15 x 10
inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 325ºF
Cool completely. Frost. Let stand at least one hour. Cut and
seve. Cut lengthwise into 5 strips, and cross-wise into 7 strips.
