Javanese Chicken Recipe

chicken breast per person
Chow Mein noodles
cooked rice
shredded coconut
crushed pineapple (drained)
slivered almonds
sliced green onions
diced celery
grated cheddar cheese

Fill pot full of water. Add chicken breasts and salt & garlic salt to taste. Simmer 45 min. after water comes to boil. Remove breasts & cool. Shred meat. Thicken broth with cornstarch & 1 tbsp. curry powder (or to taste). Add meat to thickened broth.

Serve chicken mixture on top of cooked rice & Chow Mein noodles. Guests can choose their toppings from above ingredients.
