1 cooled baked 8-inch Pie Shell
3/4 c. Sugar
1/4 twsp. Salt
7 tsp. Flour
2 Egg Yolks
2 c. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. sliced Bananas (about 2 bananas)
Slightly sweetened Whipped Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt and flour together in top of double boiler. Beat
egg yolks slightly, add milk and stir slowly into flour mixture.
Cook over boiling water until very thick (about 25 minutes),
stirring occasionally. Blend in vanilla. Cool thoroughly.
Shortly before serving, fold sliced bananas carefully into the
cooled custard. Pour into a cooled baked pie shell. Let stand a
few minutes to set. Finish witha topping of slightly sweetened
whipped cream (flavored with a little vanilla, if desired).
