1 1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. light molasses
4 1/2 c. flour
4 t. soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
1 t. salt
2 t. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and molasses and mix til smooth. Add in dry ingredients and mix. Chill 1 hour minimum. Form into balls, roll in white sugar. Bake at 375 (about) 7 minutes, depending on how soft or crisp you like them.
