3 pounds round steak
3/4 cup salad oil
3 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste
4 green peppers, chopped
1 cup celery chopped
6 fresh or canned tomatoes
2 sm cans mushrooms
corn starch for thickening
2 Tspn soy sauce
2 cans mushroom steak sauce
3 cans Chow Mein noodles or rice

Combine oil and garlic and pour over meat and marinate 1 hour. Season and brown meat. Add peppers, celery and onions. Cook over high heat until onions are limp. Reduce heat and add tomatoes and mushrooms. Simmer for 2 hours or until tender. Thicken. Add soy sauce and mushroom sauce. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
