1 C brown sugar
1 C white sugar
2 C flour
1/2 C shortening butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
Mix and reserve a heaping cup for top of cake.

Add:
2 eggs
1 C sour milk with 1 tsp. soda (sour milk = 1 C milk + 1 T vinegar)
Put into a 9x13 pan. Put crumbs on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Bake @ 350 for 30-40 minutes.
