Cake:
3 eggs, beaten well
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 T. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
2 T. butter
3 T. cream
7 T. brown sugar

Directions:
Beat the eggs and add the sugar. Mix together in a seperate bowl the flour, salt and baking powder. Add to the egg mixture and mix well. Heat the milk to the boiling point and add the butter and vanilla. Combine with the other mixture, put into a 13 X 9-inch baking dish. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
Frosting: Melt the butter, and add the cream and brown sugar to it. Spread on top of the cake and garnish with chopped nuts or coconut if desired. Put under the broiler and brown, watch carefully.
