2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
6 c. chopped apples (not peeled)
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter and eggs together. Add apples. Mix in dry ingredients. Add nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for at least 45 minutes or until center is done. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top and serve with cool whip.
