1 lb. ground beef
1, 8 oz can tomato sauce
1, 16 oz can tomatoes (cut up)
˝ tsp salt and pepper
1 tsp chili pepper
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 cups elbow macaroni

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in large frying pan – about halfway through, add onion to meat mixture. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain off oil if needed.
Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
In a separate pan boil noodles until done, drain. Add to meat mixture.

This recipe is delicious with cornbread and slaw (what isn’t?). The measurements are not always followed strictly. I do a lot of “guessaments” when I cook, so experiment with your own family’s tastes.
