3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup dark or light Karo syrup
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbs melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or pecan halves
4 oz melted semisweet chocolate
1 unbaked pie shell

Stir together the first 5 ingredients until blended
Add pecans
Pour into pie shell
Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean
