This recipe for Brownie Pudding, by Gayle Cornwell, is from Mama G's Favorites,

1/2 C Flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 C sugar 1 T cocoa 1/4 C milk 1 T melted shortening 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 C nuts 1/2 C brown sugar 2 T cocoa 3/4 C boiling water
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 1 T cocoa together. Add milk, shortening, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Add nuts. Turn into a greased casserole. Mix brown sugar and 2 T cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over top. Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes.
