1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars and butter.
Mix in oil, eggs and vanilla.
In separate bowl stir together flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Mix well.
Chill dough 2 hrs. or more.
Roll in balls and place 2" apart on cookie sheet.
Using buttered end of a flat glass dip in sugar and flatten cookie to 1/2 original height.
Bake 350 degrees for 10 min til lightly browned.
